waf_tools.vscode.build_tasks(bld: BuildContext, vscode_dir: Node) → None

Patch tasks.json with platform-specific shell and wrapper commands.

Reads the template tasks.json from vscode_dir, then for each defined task:

  • Sets the working directory (options.cwd) to the project root.

  • Sets the command to the platform shell (pwsh or bash).

  • Prepends shell-specific flags and the fox.py wrapper script path to the task arguments.

  • Updates problemMatcher file locations to use autoDetect with the project root.

Parameters:

  • bld – The active build context.

  • vscode_dir – The target .vscode directory node.
